Curriculum

The ICSE is designed to provide an exam in course of general education in accordance with National Education Policy (NEP). Students of Class IX are offered to choose stream as per their area of interest i.e., Commerce, Humanities or Science.

Subjects Offered

Compulsory Subjects
English, Punjabi, History & Civics, Geography, Computer Application, Health & Physical Education and SUPW.
Optional Sublects
Group - I    Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Group - II   Mathematics, Economics
Group - III  Economics, Commercial Studies

Activities

Quiz, Declamation, Debate, Poetry, Essay Writing etc.

Games & Sports

Athletics, Football, Volleyball, Kho-Kho & other Indoor activities like Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess, Carrom etc.

Cultural Upbringing

All the major National, Cultural & Religious days are celebrated and organized by the children themselves to inculcate values. Students are being trained in Drama, Mime, Folk dances, Singing etc.

Assessment

The academic year is divided into two terms. In order to develop a habit of regular studies, the two terms include Unit Tests in addition to the Mid Term and Final Term. For Class XI, the performance will be evaluated according to the table cited below and for Class XII Pre-boards Examination are conducted in place of Unit - Ill and ISC Board Examination in place of Final Term.
